Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Burn2Earn collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when users access or use the Burn2Earn mobile apps and related services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile information, including name, email address, gender, date of birth, spoken language, profile image, and authentication details.
  • User content, including profile images, challenge banners, comments, replies, and support messages.
  • Fitness and activity data, including steps, running activity, cycling activity, activity timestamps, sync records, and related challenge progress data from Health Connect, Apple Health, and Burn2Earn app tracking.
  • Payment and wallet information, including transaction references, payment status, challenge entry fees, wallet credits, payout requests, and payout review records.
  • Device and technical data, including device identifiers, app version, operating system, crash logs, diagnostics, IP address, and security logs.
  • Analytics and usage data, including button clicks, feature usage, session activity, app behavior, challenge interactions, and performance data.

3. Health and Fitness Data

Burn2Earn collects health and fitness data only where users grant permission through supported platform tools such as Health Connect or Apple Health. This data is used to track challenge progress, calculate rankings, verify completion, support fraud review, and determine payout eligibility.

Burn2Earn does not currently use Garmin, Fitbit, Strava, or other third-party fitness integrations. Burn2Earn does not intentionally fetch manually edited Health Connect data and intends to use auto-tracked eligible activity data where available.

4. How We Use Information

  • Create and manage user accounts and profiles.
  • Allow users to create, join, and participate in fitness challenges.
  • Track challenge progress and determine rankings and winners.
  • Process payments, wallet credits, withdrawals, and payout reviews.
  • Provide support, handle disputes, investigate fraud, and enforce policies.
  • Send push notifications, in-app messages, service updates, and challenge-related alerts.
  • Analyze app usage, improve features, troubleshoot errors, and monitor app performance.
  • Comply with legal, accounting, tax, security, fraud-prevention, and regulatory obligations.

5. Analytics and Improvement

Burn2Earn uses analytics tools such as Firebase Analytics and related analytics services to understand feature usage, user behavior, session activity, app performance, and product improvement opportunities. Burn2Earn also uses Crashlytics or similar crash reporting tools to diagnose and fix app errors.

Where required, Burn2Earn may request explicit consent before collecting or using analytics and behavior data for improvement purposes.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Burn2Earn does not store full card numbers or full card security codes. Stripe may process payment details, billing details, fraud prevention information, and payout information according to its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Sharing of Information

Burn2Earn may share information with service providers only as needed to operate the app, process payments, provide analytics, detect crashes, store data, send notifications, investigate fraud, or comply with legal obligations. These providers may include Firebase, Google Cloud, Crashlytics, Stripe, Health Connect, Apple Health, and related infrastructure providers.

Burn2Earn does not currently share user data with artificial intelligence providers and does not currently use user data to train AI models.

8. User Communications

Burn2Earn may send push notifications and in-app messages for challenge updates, support, account activity, payment status, payouts, safety notices, and service-related communications.

9. International Data Transfers

Burn2Earn is intended for global users. Information may be processed, stored, or transferred in countries other than the user’s country of residence, including countries where Burn2Earn, its infrastructure providers, payment processors, or analytics providers operate.

10. Data Retention

Burn2Earn retains account data until the user requests account deletion, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted for payment records, payout records, legal compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, or platform integrity.

11. Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion through the app or by contacting support@metafycial.com, where supported. Account deletion is permanent. Deletion may be blocked while the user has a wallet balance greater than zero, is participating in an active challenge, or has a payout request under review.

After deletion, Burn2Earn may retain payment records, payout records, fraud/security records, legal records, and accounting records where required or permitted by law.

12. User Rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of their personal information. Users may contact support@metafycial.com to exercise available rights.

13. Children and Age Restriction

Burn2Earn is not intended for users under 18. Burn2Earn does not knowingly allow users under 18 to participate in paid fitness challenges or cash reward features.

14. Security

Burn2Earn uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users are responsible for protecting their own account credentials.

15. Changes to This Policy

Burn2Earn may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates may be communicated through the app, by email, or by other reasonable means.
